TromboneOct 09, 2011
By Candida Van Natta First off, let me make it clear that I am not an expert in judging the quality of musical instruments. My son is particularly destructive as well so it's hard to tell if it was due to the workmanship or him that the trombone is in such a state a year later. The case and the instrument looked really nice when we got it and sounded good as well. It's a little on the light side so probably not the greatest quality metals were used in the production of it. The zipper on the case was broken within a week, but like I said, that could have just been due to my son's mishandeling of it. The cork on the spitvalve has come off, it's really dinged up and bent, the welding was poorly done.
Cheap caseNov 30, 2010
By punpunpun I had this trombone for about 2 months and it works fine. It's a trombone for beginners and I have no complaint for it's quality for it's price, so far. However, they use cheap material for the case and carrying strap. The buckle of the carrying strap, which suppose to connect the strap and the case, broke on the first use. If it meant to hold the weight of a heavy trombone, I don't understand why they use cheap plastic for the buckle. Another things is the pull of the zipper felt off after one week. I am disappointed
