Rapid Comfort is a tremendous product for ensuring quick trombone slide action immediately upon application. Apply the product and then spray water on your slide, and it works great. The product pictured is NOT Rapid Comfort, however, but Trombotine - another trombone slide lubricant altogether.

As a band director that teaches grades 5-12, I highly recommend this to my trombonists of all levels. It's the best stuff I've found in my 15+ years of teaching. No need to add water. Super slick!

I've played trombone professionally for about 12 years, and this is the best stuff out there. Highly, highly recommended. I've used many other products(Trombotine, cold cream, original Slide-O-Mix), and this is the best.
