I needed a bass trombone gig bag quickly. I found this one on Amazon. I was amazed that Amazon carried this product and that it was a Prime item. I received it the next day. It has nice, thick padding with soft lining, an extra pocket and a well protected pocket for the slide, plus feet on the bottom to make it stay upright when loading/unloading the instrument to and from the bag. As gig bags go, I was surprised at the quality and workmanship. ProTec seems to have increased their quality considerably since I last saw a ProTec bag. This is a good buy. Do be aware that the backpack straps are sold extra as an "accessory". It does come with a basic shoulder strap.

I bought this case for my son and it was even better than I expected. The quality is excellent and price is lower than what I had been told they would be elsewhere. Very satisfied!!!

It does the job and at a good price. I was concerned that it might not work for my Edwards double thayer valve horn. No problem fitting the horn into the case.
