This has to be the best mute, by far the best cup mute, I have ever used and owned. I actually used to use a Harmon Triple Play cup mute (the cup was removable so you could use it as a plunger and a straight mute, but it was too small for my Bach 42BO (I would have to hold it outside of the bell.) This mute is amazing, perfect size, and the cup is adjustable if i need to use it for my small jazz horn. I am actually in the middle of buying the straight denis wick mute!

The ability to change between cup and a straight mute is very essential and works great under both styles of mute. Withstands being transported and is very sturdy. Highly recommended.

I was a little unsure of how a duel purpose mute would work, but this mute works great. Have been using this mute now for about 2 months and is so much more convenient than carrying around 2 separate mute.

This is the best mute I have ever used. The cup sounds excellent and it is removable, creating a straight mute. Highly recommended. I play on a Conn 88H.
