great trombone case for the moneAug 16, 2010
By mystro2b My son has a Bach 36B trombone and we have been looking for a case forever to replace his beat-up original case that came with the horn. This Pro Tec case fit the bill: sturdy nylon covered case that will protect his horn. The horn fits like a glove and is well made. It can be converted into a back pack easily with some straps. This is a great case for tenor trombone players with an f-attachement.

Terrible case!Jan 03, 2011
By tromboneman42 This case seems to be fine at first, but it will slowly but surely deteriorate. Within a year of buying it, it started to break. I used it as a backpack, but that is no longer possible. The part that is sewn on to the case to attach the backpack straps started to rip out. Now, the case falls to either side, making it very cumbersome and uncomfortable to carry around. The best thing is that Protec expected me to pay to ship it to them to fix it when the case should not have broken in the first place. It was designed to be used as a backpack, so it should function as one and not break. I am never buying a Protec case again and I would suggest you don't either.
trombone caseJun 27, 2011
By willow22 This case fits two of the three trombones in our house. It has damaged the third one...teenage boy didn't exactly know how everything fit so jammed it in. Once he learned how it fit, it still wasn't right. Its great and light for the other two. Has held up for another teenager for a few years now.
