This is NOT an alto tromboneMay 21, 2007
I stumbled on this while looking at different alto trombones. I do not know whether or not this is a good trombone or not, having never used one, but it is NOT an alto trombone. This is a small bore tenor trombone. There is no such thing as a Bb Alto Trombone. This is not against the trombone itself (it may very well be an excellent horn) but they are misleading the purchaser. I don't know why either, because there is a MUCH bigger market for tenor trombones then altos. Also keep in mind if you're looking for an alto they are usually in Eb or F.
